Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use OneCause in our organization as an event platform. Registrations, payments, sponsorships, donations and auction items are all functions that we are using. We have 3 events, including one golf outing, that we use the platform for. As we continue to use OneCause, we will continue to expand on the tools as needed.

Return on Investment

OneCause provides great reports, which save on time.
OneCause does not integrate with Blackbaud, so we must put a lot of time into cross entering information.
Ease of payment and the ability to process payments help us to keep track of donations.
Sometimes people do not finish their payment, which makes it challenging to track down.

Usability

I have to use OneCause University often. There are so many aspects and features that we haven't used because we are still learning the program. However, it seems to be easy for our donors to utilize OneCause to register and sign up for sponsorships. If OneCause integrated with Blackbaud, I would be more inclined to rate it higher.

Support Rating

I have used the chat function, which is sometimes helpful and sometimes more cumbersome. OneCause University has a lot of the answers I have needed, but there is a lot to search through before finding the right resource. It would be nice to have a better search tool. My colleague has spoken with customer service on the phone and had a good experience.

Likelihood to Recommend

OneCause is an easy tool when registering people for a large event. The landing page (story) is great to link to from our website and social media pages. Golf tournaments are easy to organize, but I need more training to speak to how well it works. I would not recommend this tool for walks.

OneCause works well and continues to improve
