While our core business is very concentrated, our parent company has a network of resources for a very unique ad network. We utilize OpenX to serve advertisement(s) across multiple sites. All of our ads are house-ads and is not open to the public; it's solely to promote our products, initiatives and support a plethora of partnerships. It easily allows a small team to manage advertisements throughout the network with ease.
Pros
- OpenX easily allows us to manage our network and inventory.
- Enterprise support staff is very helpful; training is accessible.
- They are local to Los Angeles.
- Reporting registers relatively quickly.
Cons
- Propagation could be improved; ad units that need to go live immediately could take up to 45 minutes to propagate.
- Over-complexity can be confusing. There are multiple tiers before assigning ad units per order and it seems unnecessary.
- Real-time reporting or a status dashboard would be great.
- Increased employee efficiency with ease of reporting and ad management.
- Reporting tools have helped global partnerships solicit additional sponsorship contracts.
- Enabled us to connect all of our site inventory into one central management tool.
We've used Double Click and both products perform equally well.
