Overall Satisfaction

Used OpenX to manage all online advertising for a local newspaper. This was being used to manage 100% of the online advertising for the organization.
  • Managing ads through ad networks like Google was very easy. It was very easy to manage the ad network ads alongside of our own ads.

  • OpenX made it easy to manage online advertising. At the time I used the product I was the lead developer in charge of implementing the solution but quickly was put into the role of managing the traffic and training other users. It was really easy for a technical user to become a traffic manager. Getting other users trained and up to speed was very efficient.
Not currently applicable to the digital properties I manage. Currently I oversee a large non-profit hospital network's website where no advertising is displayed.

If applicable I'd be highly likely to renew OpenX
For large scale sites with several ad spots this is a great tool. It's especially helpful for managing impression or length of campaigns. The platform is not recommended for small sites with limited advertising.
