Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Content Management System
Optimizely hosts our websites across the business. I use the Optimizely CMS every day to manage the content across the website and to create a seamless user experience for our clients. Optimizely allows our business to address issues such as accessibility and ease of journey to find a variety of content needed for them to make informed decisions about our product. Optimizely also allows the capacity to create unique block types to house specific content for specific customer needs which we are able to utilise using our development teams.
Pros
- Easy to personalize your blocks and content.
- Ease of use for the CMS manager, easy to house content and manage it well.
- Can build and scale your site easily.
Cons
- Would be good to have an easier upgrade process.
- Be able to make structural block changes without using a back end development team.
- House video.
- Being able to manage large amounts of content in one place.
- Making the website more accessible to all customers.
- Displaying all contact details in one place to reduce redirects from phone lines.
I came in and the platform was already in place so I do not know but since coming in it was very simple to be set up as an admin.
