We are recently moved from Ektron CMS to Optimizely Content Management System. We had some challeneges with content updatesm by marketing team and this has been addressed with going with headless CMS with optimizely

It was faster, we completed the setup of the website(CMS part) with in 4 months after thorough go over of the requirements from the business
We have been hearing from marketing team that its become easy for managing their content on the website
We as a business wanted to have ecomm built into the CMS website and we have looked into the options of WordPress and SiteCore and decided to go to Optimizely Content Management System the way it brings ease and also with out comprising on the security
