Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have other Cloud Service Providers too but the reason for using the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is the additional services it provides on the database side whether it is Oracle Autonomous database or the various Database Service and mainly it's unique Exadata features.
We have been using Oracle Database since more than 2 decades now and now as we have started our Cloud Journey the migration have been very smooth with its innovative tools and services.

Compared to other Cloud Service Providers like AWS, still lacking in providing many innovative products and solutions
Administrative Portal needs to made more user-friendly

The Database Services have been phenomenal
Many of functioalities have been automated which in turn has provided better ROI
Cloud journey has been smooth and Applications are running without any downtime due to its high-availability

Alternatives Considered

Red Hat OpenShift

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provides strong and Innovative database services with its enterprise Autonomous Database and Exadata Features. Oracle Database management can make huge workloads autonomously. OCI in addition is more cheaper compared to it's other competitors in the industry.
For initiation, OCI also provides free trainings and free usage trials which is good to evaluate one's use cases.

1. Good collaboration with Microsoft Azure for adopting Multi-cloud services specially Azure for application side services and OCI for database side features.
2. Best for high-performance computing which could run multiple complex simulations along with artificial intelligence as an additional addon.
3. Very well suited for the pricing factors as it has much cheaper rates compared to its competitors (though needs lacks a bit of flexibility).
