Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Linux

I currently use Oracle Linux for database server implementations. It is the core Linux distribution in the enterprise environment. As part of problems, there as not been marked any relevant until now.
  • More performance than other Linux.
  • Better oracle support awareness and patch development for issues resolution.
  • Better ASM integration.
  • None at this point.
  • We've noticed in some cases the resource usage and overall performance have improved by 30%.
I've used previously HPUX and AIX, and after starting using Oracle Linux, migrated the databases to this system.
In the issues encountered, Oracle support has efficiently provided the needed guidance.
