Overall Satisfaction with Pantheon

We use Pantheon to manage our marketing websites. Beyond just hosting the marketing website itself, Pantheon also helps us with addressing workflow and approval processes as we move through the different iterative stages of website development and content creation.

Pantheon is definitely the best, most premium option of any WordPress hosting services I've tried. For simpler WordPress sites I prefer using SiteGround because of it's lower cost and simpler features for the client to manage.

For sites of any complexity though, Pantheon is the best currently out there.

In my experience Pantheon is great for handling complex WordPress marketing websites, but for smaller and simpler sites the workflow can definitely be overkill and end up being detrimental for the client, as well as being more expensive than other options.

I highly recommend Pantheon for any serious marketing teams with large resources and complex requirements. For smaller teams (e.g. of one or none) it's unlikely that you'll be able to make use of Pantheon's full potential and it may be more of a burden than a help.
