Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

Paychex Flex is used by the clients that we service for payroll. Provides a one-stop payroll product for clients.

Pros

  • Processing payroll for employees.
  • Processing payments for contractors.
  • Quarterly reporting.

Cons

  • Org structure is not easily accessible.
  • Departments do not report correctly on payroll journals.
  • Payroll reps are not always responsive.
  • Mainly the negative is the payroll rep being slow to respond or not staying engaged on an issue.
  • Departments are difficult on reports to break out.
  • Employee portal is good.
Client chose Paychex.
Like I said before, the rep is not responsive. I have to get the supervisor involved. When you call support, a rep will basically not help you and refer to the individual assigned to your account.

An average company needing payroll services; I think it's a good product.
Paychex Flex is great if you have a small number of employees and even some contractors. If you have ministers or a large number of employees, it's not easy to navigate.
