Overall Satisfaction with Paycor
We use it for our whole entity.
- Walks you through the new employee process.
- If you forget to do something while entering a new employee they will contact you.
- Timeliness of receiving W-2's.
- Web based. So if I had a problem with the internet at work I could potentially go home and work on it.
- Would like a place to put local address. (We employ several college students.)
- Web based. So if there is an internet outage over our region I might not be able to produce payroll even if I went home to work on it as I live less than 4 miles from work.
- It allows employees to view their pay information online. (Even though only ~50% of them have viewed it after signing up for it.)
Our HR and/or payroll team has saved 1-25 hours per month. - We do paper time sheets so there isn't a great deal of time savings per payroll. Some time is saved because I don't have to prepare or file the employment tax returns, pay the employment taxes myself, nor do I have to print the W-2s.
- ADP and Shelby
We were with ADP for several years and moved from them to Shelby because ADP didn't support our bank so we couldn't do direct deposit. Ended up saving a lot of money because ADP is crazy expensive.
Moved from Shelby to Paycor because our Diocese mandated the change. It's a bit more expensive than Shelby, but the Diocese reimburses us the costs.
