Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

I used PayCor for three separate companies. Customer service was not very knowledgeable and my prices for shipping were all over the place. After struggling with them two years I finally made the decision to make a move and so far it was the best decision I've made. The new company I am using is very helpful. The system isn't quite as user friendly but the team is very knowledgeable and helpful and responds very quickly,
  • The system is user friendly
  • All new customer service
  • Pro: Easy access to employee information
  • Con: When you leave you have NO access to your employee files
  • Con: Prices increased and the shipping changed weekly (although it was almost always the same amount of checks etc.)
Our HR and/or payroll team is spending more time than we did previously due to Paycor. - Since I stop using PayCor I am using less time getting payroll completed. The new company I use get me my exports for QuickBooks just as soon as I complete the payroll which saves me tons of time. If I have any questions, I call or email and get an immediate response. If I need to be showed they do a GoToMeeting and show me how I need to input things in order to get what I am looking for. It so far has been an awesome experience.
Because I received little to no support. I got passed from one person to another.
System is user friendly, Customer Service not so much
I now use ProLiant and there is no comparison. ProLiant is better by far.
If you want a user friendly system but don't care about price or customer service then this is a good option for you. If you don't want prices jacked (rather rates or shipping) and don't want lousy customer service then you need to go else where because that's what you'll get here.
