Paycor.
Overall Satisfaction with Paycor
We use Paycor for payroll, recruiting, time scheduling, and onboarding. Every employee uses the program every day. We find the programs perfect for our needs; however, customer service is severely lacking. Chat is useless, and getting a hold of someone who can answer your question or fix your problem quickly is next to impossible.
Pros
- Tracking employees' timecards.
- Making the onboarding process easier for new hires.
- Running payroll smoothly.
Cons
- Customer service. Chat is completely useless.
- Communication. Useful features disappear for months with no timeframe for when they'll be back (e.g., the Impersonation feature!).
- Cases are closed as soon as the representative responds, regardless of whether their answer actually solved the issue.
- Freeing HR's time has been necessary since only two people are in our HR department.
- Allowing employees to use the mobile app for their timecards has led to less tracking down of out-of-office employees for their hours on payroll weeks.
- Downloadable workflows have been a real-time saver when preparing documentation for audits.
Our HR and/or payroll team has saved time, but I'm not sure how much. - Not having to go through all of the onboarding documents with each new hire individually has saved HR a lot of time each month. This is especially helpful since there are only two people in the entire department to begin with.
