Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Streamlines application process and houses all employee records in one place. The performance, community, and impressions tabs are exciting and bring employees together!

Pros

Cons

  • Logs you out sometimes in the middle of completing a task.
  • benefits tab is very hard to navigate without training.
  • need more training during implementation.
  • Reduced costs.
  • data driven results from the reporting tab.
  • More consistent recognition for outstanding employee deeds.
I don't use the Payroll, scheduling, and time tracking within Paylocity.
It has fostered an environment of lifting your co-workers up! Many of our employees use the impression tool to recognize each other's achievements! We also use it to give out recognition for daily acts of excellence, which has boosted company morale.

Paylocity is great for housing all your employee's HR documents, completing reviews, and onboarding new employees. For instance, when a candidate applies, you have all the communication, documents, and interview information in one place, then when you hire that candidate, it smoothly transitions over to onboarding that employee. During the implementation process, I don't believe there was enough training offered which made using the software difficult. I had to reach out to them several times for training and often figured things out by doing them myself.
