Paylocity has everything I need for HR all in one place. The onboarding procedure works very easily. I was concerned because we hire a lot of plant workers who are not used to a computer. But the process is fairly easy and they can even do most of it from their phone. Sometimes if they are loading the I9 documents, their phones won't allow it, but we just have them bring them in , scan them and add them onto their file. It is easy and not much of a problem.

As I said previously, New Employee Onboarding is now so easy - employees can complete the process before they report on their first day. No wasted time filling out forms - they can start work right away!

Position or salary changes are also easier to process. A way to for managers to upload documents during this process would be a bonus, but not a show stopper.

- Good software platform. Easy to use, process payroll, and automation can be set up for onboarding and file transfers. - Very good at responding and researching tax notices.
- Customer service is good. Representatives are always friendly and willing to assist.
- Org Chart could use improvement, specifically extracting all or just some of the organizations departments.
- Some representatives are better (more knowledgeable) than others. Leaves room for improvement for other lesser knowledgeable reps.
- Pricing on prior quarter adjustments seems to be a bit of a "money grab". I feel the pricing should be lowered for the amount of work that is being done by Paylocity.
- Workflow feature works well, however, some of the notifications do not get delivered to the intended recipients.

A great HRIS System that provides a lot of solutions to business needs!

Maybe it's because it is more robust than we need, but the time cards are less than easy to figure out. We want very basic, and it just doesn't seem as easy as it could be.

Paylocity is well suited to most everyone, someone should be prepared to spend a fair amount of time implementing, but otherwise Paylocity should be easy to use and accommodating to most everyone. Employer's with HSA plans there is some benefit election and tracking needs that Paylocity cannot accommodate. App has more limited use then actual site, younger users want to use app only.

Paylocity is very well suited for any general HRIS system needs. However, for growing govcon companies, there will be limitations in timesheets and projects that will make it very difficult to be DCAA compliant and when you reach that point in growth, you may extract and do timesheets outside of the Paylocity system into a more sophisticated solution and having an import of the payroll file back into Paylocity as the HRIS solution.

It is well suited for 9-5, Monday - Friday workforces. In my experience, Paylocity struggles with less traditional workforces, such as 24-7 work schedules that change cost centers mid-shift. The overnight management of scheduling, time, and labor is dismal.

Paylocity is well suited to companies with some level of complexity; such as having multi state, multi department, multi location, a large staff size, and complex compensation structures. Paylocity has a ton of features that make them a good fit for these companies. Paylocity is probably overkill for small teams with very simple needs.

Paylocity has worked wonderfully for our workforce of 80 employees. We haven't used the on boarding process yet, but are planning to and expect it to require less work for the several folks that will be using it.

Paylocity works really well for a company our size (approx. 600 employees). I think if we were to triple in size it would likely work just as well. Especially if the changes requested on a prior question were implemented. Some things, such as being able to e-verify an employee, is tied to using the onboarding feature of Paylocity that we cannot use, due requirements of the new owners of the company. That means we have to everify outside of the payroll system. This is the one thing our prior payroll provided did that is better than what Paylocity can provide. Bundling features is understandable but it would be nice if some functionality could be used outside of the bundle to accommodate the needs of the customer.

Paylocity works great for small businesses! Our company is less than 50 people. I could see how Paylocity would be more difficult to use for larger companies because of the improvements I listed on the last page.
