Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We're using it for payroll benefits, talent acquisition, and we will be moving our performance management over as well. It is moving us from a lot of manual work. We had several systems that were not talking to each other, so Paylocity gives us a one-stop shop.

Pros

  • It's really user-friendly. Not only is the prompts very intuitive, but then it's all those great videos and tutorials.

Cons

  • A few more integrations. I have looked at some possible vendors that don't integrate with Paylocity.
  • It's had great positive impact, especially on our time to task. A lot of things that were done manually are now done automatically through Paylocity, which frees up a lot of bandwidth from a team
  • I think all of those, the biggest case was the work study I did, looking at how much time we spend doing stuff manually and entering from one system into another. So that's the most compelling thing right now for me is that we save a lot of time by having everything in one place.
It's freed up my team to do more important things.
Used to use ADP. We're transitioning from ADP. We looked at BambooHR and we looked at Workday when we were trying to decide who to use. But we decided to go with Paylocity as we think it was the best choice. I've had 5 years of using it and been more than happy with it.

Talent acquisition. It's the best tool I've used where we're able to follow people in one system from application through hire and then they're seamlessly integrated into the employee profile.
I haven't found a scenario yet where it's less appropriate.
