Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We utilize Paylocity as our HRIS, Payroll, Learning, Time Clock, Recruiting and ACA reporting.

Pros

  • Customization of the system to match our needs
  • Good team on the service department who are knowledgeable and can answer my questions and help resolve issues.
  • Continually updates the system to make things easier.

Cons

  • While the reporting system is getting much better I still find that I am looking for what feels like standard reports and am not able to find a report that fits my needs.
  • I have 3 company IDs and recruiting is frustrating because I can not track candidates across each company ID but rather they are siloed into 1 company. So if a candidate is a no-show to an interview at one company I am not able to see that information if they are to apply to another location.
  • I wish the self service for employees could be more customizable to fit our needs. We do not utilize the community feature but it is front and center on the app. My staff want to use the app for their timecards and to request time off. I would love to make that more prominent on their screen.
  • We are able to confidently pay staff knowing that they are being paid accurately for the hours worked.
  • Better visibility into our workforce dynamics.
  • Faster recruitment to hire timeframe
Very positively. When I first started 10 years ago almost everything was being done very manually which was creating many errors and was also extremely inefficient. Utilizing Paylocity's features to track staff's background checks and to make sure that staff are getting their required trainings, and to track candidates in recruiting, all of these features have brought us further forward as a company and also has helped employee moral because they know what is expected.

I have worked with Paylocity for 10 years now and I've been impressed with the continuous improvement of the system and feel that, for our company of around 250 employees, it is a great fit.
