Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity as our HRIS system. We use it for reporting and tracking as well as Payroll processing.
Pros
- Payroll processing.
- Provides data insights that are extremely helpful!
- Year End dashboard is a tool that comes in handy every year.
Cons
- Reporting: not user-friendly, no reporting date ranges in report writer, building reports are complex, and reports don't populate correct data oftentimes.
- 401K L codes do not populate in order and cause issues with accurate loan tracking as the L codes only reflect active loan data and override previous loan data.
- Better workflow visibility; audit trail has been a very helpful tool!
- Improvement with enhancement requests and providing updates.
Time and labor have been fantastic in tracking overtime, holiday, and vacation leave. It has allowed us to stop using external manual processes for monitoring these balances.
We have not used any employee engagement tools via Paylocity to date.
