Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity's payroll product and customer service work very smoothly! Our employee base is primarily salaried. We use the time tracking product to track hours for grants, as well as PTO.

Pros

  • Payroll module is very intuitive and easy to use
  • Customer service is very helpful
  • If a problem arises, getting to the solution is usually simple - not a lot of black holes of information.

Cons

  • The timekeeping product is not as solid as the payroll processing product. Sad to say, there are a few tiny glitches that irritate our employees.
  • If a problem happens with the timekeeping product, you don't have direct access to technical support.
  • Payroll processing is so easy - makes it no drama (as it should be)

ADP has lots of bells and whistles but the product itself is not intuitive. Also ADP's customer service is hit and miss which can be very frustrating. Paylocity is a simpler product with fewer bells but user friendly and easier to learn, plus customer service which is much better.
