Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for payroll and employee benefits enrollment.

Pros

  • Allowing staff to view their payroll and employee HR information
  • Access to quarterly and annual reports
  • Service is very responsive

Cons

  • Adding staff with different wage allocations isn't always easy and I often have to contact service to fix issues that the administrators should have access to.
  • The GL Allocation report doesn't export cleanly to excel. I have to spend several minutes formatting columns and correcting contents of Account Number column.
  • It's difficult to find quarterly reconciliation ACH reports so that I can properly allocate the charges to the General Ledger
  • Performance review input is somewhat redundant but is very straightforward.
Being able to celebrate fellow employee accomplishments is great.
Changing some staff allocations is sometimes cumbersome.
