Overall Satisfaction with PayPal Payments Pro
At our agency we built a custom ecommerce shop for a client which allows them to sell items online. They couldn't always get staff to open their small bricks and mortar shop and need an online solution. They looked at Shopify but wanted something we could set up without extra ongoing monthly fees.
Pros
- Payments.
- Feels safe (trusted brand).
- Quick.
Cons
- Fees are higher than competition.
- Takes longer than the competition to release funds.
- Payment option for crypto needed.
- Taking payments.
- Releasing the funds.
- Being a trusted brand for online commerce.
- As we've integrated this multiple times for different client we knew how to hook it all up so this increased margins.
- Clients were familiar with the UX.
- Customers recognise PayPal and are more likely to trust the client's website and pay.
- Stripe
Stipe is a little more complex to use but has better rates. In this particular instance, the client was more familiar with PayPal and wished to go with something they had heard of. They had already used PayPal (and had an account) and said that they felt more comfortable using the software.
