Overall Satisfaction with Pega 7 Platform

In Risk Rating Implementation for one of my clients..... It is used as a replacement tool for an in house software, wherein it will be used firmwide across the bank to provide details / act as the precursor for all risk rating and regulatory capital computation activities by the bank and its downstream consumers.
  • Good UI Look and Feel
  • Easy to develop
  • Intuitive
  • Data transformation and service logic
  • Complex algorithm implementation
  • Persistence and database interaction
  • Debugging experience
  • My client has just been using PEGA... Will get details of ROI on usage
PEGA ease of development as compared to IBM BPM ODM is a major plus.... Its UI is also definitely better than BOSCH. However, it fails to integrate complex service logic as easily as IBM BPM ODM. Also, BOSCH, in my opinion, has a more error free and robust environment to offer.

It is not a particularly well suited application for Regulatory and Risk Organizations, with special tailor made needs for different portfolio risk assessment. It becomes extremely complex to integrate, when idiosyncratic data needs are needed and firm specific computations become a base norm.

The software however works well for UI platforms and is a good user interface tool.
