Overall Satisfaction with Planful
We use Planful for our ad hoc task for each branch and cost center. We are are able to schedule reports and send through email to stakeholder. For budgeting, we use the system every year for setting up the new budgeting year. We use the Consolidation for our eliminations and as well as reporting for our Monthly closeout meetings
Pros
- The scheduling and ability to email reports
- The budgeting templates that allow us to reuse templates for different years
- The automation
Cons
- The tool can improve on the dashboard table graph by allowing percentage values to be averaged.
- The data load limits for when a new account is uploaded. The system should load the account number that are in but not the new accounts instead of failing the whole data load.
- The system should allow open source tool such as python, r and etc
- For BOD reporting we save at least 50% more time
- For budgeting we save at least 50% of time
The system does that well. We are able to roll up to our full company
We have been able to use everything for our reporting
Planful was able to show us how we could benefit for our business in the demo better than the other companies
