Planful Customer Experience

We use Planful for all of our reporting, including Actuals, Forecast & Budget. We have integrated it with our ERP systems and other data via stat accounts so it results in being the single source of truth. It prevents the need for tapping into data in multiple sources and data integrity within Microsoft Excel and allows for very quick querying and checking of data.

We have expanded the users over the past couple of years by 7x by rolling out user access to several different departments and requiring them to directly contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process. By having other departments directly contribute, they have become used to accessing reports from a central repository, thereby reducing the more minuscule asks to the Finance team. Additionally, we have been able to generate more buy-in from having them have their hand in driving the projections.

Yes, the best part of having Planful is the ability to drive all reporting from a centralized location and having one version of the truth. Not only does it ensure data integrity, but it also saves a lot of time considering users are able to refresh reports on a cadence by a single click of the button when leveraging automation tools such as Substitution Variables (updates to current month on the back-end without intervention on the front-end).

Planful has reduced our days of close to only 3 days. Additionally, real-time financial data and insights can be extracted in no time at all, providing us the opportunity to leverage all of our bandwidth in strategic analysis and understanding the true story rather than spending the time in data extraction.

The data accuracy is night and day difference from the times when we were using only excel. Often times, data links were broken, data came from different sources, and we did not know which one to rely on. At this point, Planful is our one-stop shop that we rely on for all of our Finance knowledge needs.

There are too many times when Planful provided us with exceptional support to count. Every customer success manager has taken time out of every month to dedicate time to our needs. They circle up multiple Solution Architects to solve our problems, and if the problems are not completely satisfied, they circle up with their connections and other consultants to find the solution to our problem. They will go to all lengths to provide us our solutions. They also went out of their way to ensure we were able to attend their conference, scheduling appointments and adapting to all obstacles seen to enable our team's traveling to their conference of phenomenal knowledge transfer.
