Overall Satisfaction with Planview Projectplace

We are using Projectplace as a platform for project management (development of large rad infrastructure) and general support for collaboration within our organization. It is used by 80+ project managers and 800+ employees and dozens of teams in 30+ locations.
  • Collaboration.
  • Project management.
  • Document management.
  • Large organizations.
  • Traditional structured projects (Gantt)
  • Roadmaps
  • Action items and tasks
  • Delegate work assignments
The integration between Gantt charts and Kanban boards is a great feature in comparison with MS Project. Another great feature is the link with Plainview Enterprise One for portfolio management, resource management, and reporting.
The current implementation of some features (team working and dependencies between Kanban boards) isn't compatible with a safe and controlled collaboration between internal and external stakeholders. It really limits a broad implementation at the moment.
  • Collaboration.
  • Transparancy.
It is very suitable for project management and team collaboration, and less suitable for collaboration as the platform is complex for project teams or collaboration environments without a proper plan-driven agenda.

Planview Projectplace Reliability

It is a bit more difficult to fluently use in large scale implementations.
No downtime-issues since the implementation. It has been very stable.
