Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Vasion Print for the ease of printing. It help eliminate the use of a dedicated print server. It help make it so that you are able to add in printer from different site into 1 place. Allow user to be able to easily add and remove printer. Allow admin to edit printer and have the new setting be apply to user devices once their device check in with Vasion Print.

Won't tell you if a printer driver is not compatible with the printer
Doesn't point you in the right direction when it's not able to print, just say that it error out.

Usability

It allow users to easily add and remove printer without needing IT personnel to assist them. Allow admin to edit printer setting and driver with out having to manually do this for every devices. It was able to help make it easier for our employees to add and remove printer when going to different site location. Since it require our Office365 credential, it help prevent unwanted people to have access to our printer. Allow our employees to not have to relied on IT personnel to assist them when they needed access to a printer.

You are able to add printer from a different site location to your devices. That way when you go to that site location you can already print to the printer without having to figure out how to connect to a printer at that site.

If you only have one site, then it might be better to just use a dedicated print server.
