Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Procore is being utilized in our operations department for all document and drawing control, as well as communication with trades and consultants. This system is very efficient in managing the workflow of documents, making it easy and fast to write RFIs, create submittals, and update the drawings accordingly. The site guys (superintendents and foremen) are utilizing this software to view up to date drawings and submittals, as well as reporting and documenting properly. This effort free channel to keep everyone up to date has helped reduce redundancy, mistakes, and questions at our site.
Pros
- Document Control: Providing a user-friendly system for RFIs, submittals, drawings, and specs helps streamline almost everything.
- Reports: The custom generated reports publish in a nice format and all the columns can be customized.
- Drawings: The ability to upload all drawings and revisions as well as mark up drawings as we go helps with coordination.
Cons
- Some processes could be improved upon (such as adding multiple assignees to the workflow in RFIs). But looks like the regular updates will address small issues like this.
- Increased efficiencies and productivity.
- Reduced re-work and questions.
