Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We use Procore to manage our projects. We keep our plans on there and it allows us to create as-builts as we go along. We use it to perform our safety inspections on job sites. We track and manage product deliveries to sites. We create, store and manage RFI's with the program as well. There are several general contractors in our area that also use this to manage their projects and they use it as a communication tool between us.

Pros

  • Plan management.
  • RFI management.

Cons

  • Some more home page functionality would be good. I would also like the ability to use some of the features outside of a job.
  • It has allowed us to communicate better.
  • It allows us to track changes better.
We previously had an in-house form that was emailed at the end of every day. It hasn't allowed us to speed up our logs, but it has allowed us to better organize them inside of the jobs.
It was a smoother and seemingly more functional program than the others we looked at.
Procore is best suited for contractors doing larger jobs with established plans. It works for sub-contractors well, but is more directed at general contractors who can use it as a tool to communicate between subs.
