Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We utilize Procore for the control and management of project documents. Life documents such as RFIs and submittals are logged, shared, and followed through to completion. We use it for Cost management and submission of costs to the client. Procore has improved field productivity by tracking drawings, mark-ups and hands-on activity by field personnel. We also use it for field construction support, time, labor, and budget tracking, field observations, and minutes.
- Drawings are a very important tool for day-to-day field activity and production.
- Financials: Provides help to the project manager to keep track of extra costs by utilizing observations, RFIs, and changes to the work schedule.
- Shared projects between general contractor and subcontractor. Procore is geared more toward general contractors, as opposed to being for specialty contractors or subcontractors.
- Minutes module needs to be more user friendly. Some users have expressed concern about how difficult the module can be.
- Have definitely saved time.
- Increased efficiency in the field and in the office.
We tried Procore Drive but that didn't work well for us. As for other third-party software, I am not completely sure company-wide.
This is for field personnel as I don't enter dailies.
I used Oracle Construction Management with a previous employer.
