Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We are managing a project right now that we have taken over from another contractor and being able to coordinate and have everything we have going on in the field located in one place so that we can accurately put together budgets and forecasts and review change orders really has proven to be invaluable.
- Ability to store all of your important project documents in one place
- Uploading documents is very easy and intuitive
- There is a feature for every task you would need on the job site
- Because there is so much available, without proper training one could get lost
- A complete training does take a good amount of time to become familiar with the program
- There is so much to work with that there are definitely growing pains
- When we made the switch to this program, we immediately saw the benefits of having everything in one place.
- Being able to submit daily reports to one central hub for everyone else's review really makes life easier.
- If an event pops up where we need to hold someone else accountable, Procore allows us to do it professionally and cleanly.
Because of where I work as an estimator, I have only ever used Procore by itself. I know that our teams in the field use programs like Primavera 6, but I'm not sure if they use it in tandem or as a stand-alone product. A lot of the work I do in Procore deals with contract coordination and setting the general project up for the project team.
Daily logs are an essential part of the construction field team's responsibilities. If we as a company are able to put together and assemble comprehensive and detailed daily reports like the way Procore allows us to, we are able to function at a much higher level of productivity as orders can be placed on time as we are able to quickly get information to those able to make those decisions.
