Overall Satisfaction with Procore
I mostly use Procore for the following items:
- Submittals
- RFI's
- Meeting Minutes
- Observations
- Inspections
- Directory
- Drawings
Pros
- They do a great job in keeping the drawings in order.
- They do a great job with keeping the most up to date submittal handy.
- Procore does a great job with keeping the daily logs organized.
Cons
- Procore can improve on their Procore extract tool.
- They can improve on the Procore email notification.
- They can improve on the way meeting minutes are set up.
- The search feature in drawings has saved me countless hours when I am looking to find something in the drawings.
- I think that Procore can improve on the way that the Procore emails are sent out. I have noticed that subcontractors tend to ignore Procore emails due to the number of emails they get and the fact that they all look the same.
- The way that the submittals can be viewed is a great feature. Personally, I like to look at the submittals by filtering the submittals in multiple filters. This allows me to find the submittal that I am looking for quicker. Once you put in the filters you will find the submittal that you are looking for and you do not have to search [through] all of the submittals.
There is only one third-party software that I have integrated with Procore. That software is Microsoft Outlook. I think that this is a great integration because you are able to send emails through your email with Procore items in a quick fashion. you do not have to download it from Procore, save [it] on your computer, then attach it to the email.
I think that Procore is pretty good with the daily logs. I like the fact that you can add a lot of items [to] it. This has helped me because I was able to provide delays due to weather. I was able to pull a report from Procore and show the client the specific days that we had weather delays and how bad the delay was.
