Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We use Procore to manage our construction projects from preconstruction to defects management. Procore has been instrumental in combing several processes into a single platform. Being able to communicate large portions of files & information with a subcontractor pool with ease has streamlined projects. Another major benefit of Procore is the ability to connect & control lines of communication between trades & clients/consultants - to ensure all information is communicated correctly & that appropriate records are being kept.

Cons

  • Speed of use - sometimes clunky & slow to use.
  • Setting up of transmittals - need to find a way to integrate templates for quicker set-up.
  • Timecard is clunky.
  • Positive - combining several business processes into a single platform.
  • Positive - create a standardised response to building management across the business.
  • Negative - time consuming to learn & uncover all potential.
Cosential - our lead management tool. This is used to track upcoming potential jobs, job status & then import directly into Procore. They work together well.
Procore has saved time on completion of tedious tasks - saving resources & money. Being able to export concise reports in a matter of moments, moving away from traditional excel templates, has been instrumental for our business.

Procore is good when it is being used for all aspects of the project - from pre-con & tender to defects. It speeds up the completion of tedious tasks - like dilapidation reports, defects management, client communication. Sometimes it is difficult to get a client invested in using it for a one-off project - but once you use it for a bit it is very intuitive.
