Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We use Procore as a project management resource. We write all commitments with our subcontractors, as well as change orders to corresponding agreements. We also use it for prime contract tracking and the prime contract change orders with our clients. In some areas, we use it for scheduling but it can be an arduous undertaking. It works on larger projects for the most part. We do daily logs, keep photos, and track RFIs out of the system. We do not use it for contract budgets or any sort of budget tracking for the jobs or company at large. It also isn't used to track project projections with regards to revenue.
  • Change orders with clients is a customizable form. However, you have to have Procore do it and cannot customize it yourself, which is a difficult process. But the end product is a good one.
  • The photos log is unlimited space
  • The ability to track emails in and out of the system is nice.
  • Their budget tool is really not sufficient for tracking project revenue or any sort of gross margin tracking, in my opinion,
  • Their integrations and ERP teams, as well as their customer support teams are so hard to get time with, yet everything has to go through them. It puts the reps in a really bad place and leaves a huge delay in getting anything done. It's a real issue, I've found.
  • There is always going to be a time savings with the ability to move away from paper documentation. Procore achieves that.
  • There is more streamlining with the fact that you are able to work from anywhere on a cloud-based software.
Sage 300 is our accounting software. The integration is frustrating to say the least. We wish we could integrate our accounts. That would be a huge help and timesaver, but that doesn't appear to be on the docket anytime soon. We will keep submitting enhancements for it though because it would really help us with duplicate entries.
I wouldn't say we use Procore as a retention tool.

Do you think Procore delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Procore's feature set?

No

Did Procore live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Procore go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Procore again?

No

I don't plan on recommending Procure to people. It is a strong tool that was needed in the industry. However, at this time, there are other tools that are just as good and attainable at a better price, in my opinion. Unfortunately, they seem to be priced out. There are times we wish we could start fresh with a new platform.
