Overall Satisfaction with Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (formerly Wombat Security)
We use this platform as a part of our cyber-security awareness program in which we send simulated phishing emails to our employees to see if they click on the link or attachments. It is being utilized throughout the entire organization.
Pros
- Provides plenty of usable phishing templates.
- Clear reporting after a phishing campaign.
- The admin interface is very intuitive and easy to use.
Cons
- No improvement needed so far.
- Clear quantitative metrics on where the gaps our in a company's security infrastructure.
- Easy to utilize interface which lessens the amount of training one needs to administer.
- Phishing campaigns that are easy to construct due to intuitive UI.
KnowBe4 is more focused on security awareness since it is it's main source of business whereas Proofpoint security awareness is just an adjunct to the proof-point suite of products. KnowBe4 has an advantage here since their main focus is on security awareness rather than other things. That being said KnowBe4 has better tools and better ways to gauge the success or failure of a cyber-security program.
