Overall Satisfaction with Publer
I have used Hootsuite for years, and found it to be very powerful and well designed. Over time they continued to raise their prices, especially for access to multiple social media accounts, and the total monthly cost became harder to bear as a small business. One of our interns had used Publer in her prior internship and recommended we try it. The application is a bit more simple than Hootsuite, but We have used it since August 2023 with 8 different social media accounts with excellent results. The ability to compose ONE core post with media and text, then adjust as needed to the platform requirements of the different accounts is a huge time saver.
Pros

Cons
- I wish it could automate a few more things using standard settings. I often need to redo the same changes over and over

- helps me maintain higher coverage
- fewer rejected posts as their system ensures you submit within guidelines
Not quite as powerful but easier to use and much more cost effective. Plus the Publer customer service is awesome. The prescheduling system makes batch processing my work much more convenient, and you can "reuse" a prior post then just alter some text or swap out an image to always have fresh content without reinventing the wheel each time.
