Overall Satisfaction with Qualtrics
I am the only Qualtrics user for my organization. I use it for my annual satisfaction/engagement surveys for my various constituents.
Pros
- The display logic is a godsend. No more gaming the system (using skip logic) to get specific questions to only some of the survey respondents.
- It has a lot of evaluative features that other programs do not.
- It runs basic statistical analysis on your survey data.
Cons
- The reporting export is... how shall I put this mildly... awful! I mean so bad it must be a joke that I am not getting.
- I have to completely rework the results after exporting because I can't get Qualtrics to assign values to my scales as I prefer. (Yes they allow recoding values on some instruments but not all). This can lead to human error.
- Their Beta reporting feature is embarrassingly bad. If I were them I wouldn't consider this release a Beta. It is not there yet.
- It provides a cleaner more professional interface for my survey respondents than my previous software.
- As stated before, the exported reports are cumbersome and unhelpful that it has actually has doubled my work on the back end.
Qualtrics has SurveyMonkey beat (hands down) on the front end and SurveyMonkey is much much better at the back end i.e. survey exports.
