Overall Satisfaction with Qualtrics

Qualtrics is the go to source for experimental research in academia. Our entire department uses Qualtrics on a very regular and consistent basis, and we could not perform without it.
  • Questionnaire design - Qualtrics makes it easy to develop solid questionnaires.
  • Data collection - With Qualtrics, I can easily access my data real-time or download the full results. It's easy!
  • While Qualtrics recently made significant improvements on its UI, some aspects of Qualtrics are still difficult. For example, there's no "undo" button if you change the text in a question accidentally.
  • For academia, Qualtrics has significantly improved the quality of experimental research. Not only can you better run experiments, but you can access the data quickly and with great ease.
I've tried free versions of other survey software, and nothing stacks up compared to Qualtrics. First, the UI of Qualtrics is superior to its competitors. Second, the number of question types available is outstanding. Third, I prefer how Qualtrics allows you to organize your projects.
Qualtrics is best suited for questionnaires that do not need advanced programming or gamification. While simple games or more advanced features can be done in Qualtrics, you may be best suited with another platform if you chose to do something very advanced.
