Non-Profit database for members
Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase
This product was used by a non-profit organization to manage all of their contacts. They were using Excel and we wanted to get it into a database that we could share and extend. We are also writing API's that we could use to pull the information out for use with MailChimp.
Pros
- Ability to add tables and insert data
- Created an API for Quickbase
- Support when we needed some assistance
Cons
- Have not stayed up to date to fully answer this question
- We were able to get a database created quickly and retired the Excel spreadsheet.
At the time we did not have a website to host MySQL so using QuickBase on the cloud was the best solution. It allowed another person and myself the ability to log in and make changes. We were also able to present it to people in other areas.
