Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

QuickBase is being used to manage our client's advertising campaigns. It helps us store and organize all of the project information as well as facilitate communication and workflow between teams working on the projects.
  • It has very exhaustive number of features and capabilities that allow for full project management
  • Customizable
  • The biggest improvement needed are with the bugs. Multiple times I've seen information be lost because of QuickBase bugs. Advertisers in our drop down menus will randomly change, I've had QA requests completely lost in our records, sometimes email notifications don't come through. These types of issues become more significant when our client satisfaction depends on the accuracy of our records and ability to keep workflow as tight as possible.
  • I like how customizable QB is, but it is not necessarily the most intuitive interface so it's not super easy to customize reports and features. I have this report that I've made several times, favorited, and I still can never find it when I need it even when I search for it.
  • I can't say that I've seen a definite impact either way
For the smaller company I was at where we did all of the production in-house, JIRA was definitely a better match. QuickBase works well for the larger corporation that our company is because it helps manage those larger moving pieces that are part of our process.
I won't be the one specifically making this decision, but if I found a software that did what QB does overall with features that ease the ability of helping my team prioritize work and campaigns, I would go encourage my team to move towards that selection. On the same token, if QB were to grow this functionality in their system, I would be perfectly happy.
Its great for sending projects between teams, but not great for actual workflow management. There's no way to make a lineup of work for our producers to help them manage their workload and prioritize what's most important.
