Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

We use QuickBase for a sales CRM, field operation surveys for performance KPIs, accounts receivable collections and for HR applicant screening.
  • Scalability - addition of external system data using QuickBase CSV Sync.
  • Ease of use for our end users - forms and reports are intuitive.
  • Change Management - modifications can be made on the fly with little overhead by specific app owners or admin level users.
  • More customization in regard to reporting and the visual outputs of reports (Summary Reports in particular).
We can implement a badly needed solution within a week or two, at most, with multiple users building out the app and required functionality. When users are able to start using the application changes can be made on the fly quickly, and efficiently by business users themselves.
I was not involved with the selection of QuickBase or have experience with any other low-code platforms.
The level of difficulty is extremely low for anyone to start building apps. Any questions can be answered typically through the QuickBase support portal and QuickBase support is extremely helpful and will generally log into the app that has generated the question, with your permission, to take a first-hand look at the problem.
  • Building and deploying business applications faster
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
  • Solving a specific business challenge
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
We often make updates quickly at the request of end users that use an app that might not have a hands-on application owner. Typically, for mature apps most of the changes are cosmetic for the most part, but it is handy when we need to make a big change when we can make an exact copy of the app in our realm, complete the changes, allow users to review and respond, and then implement them in the 'live' app. The only drawback with this is having to document all of the changes in order to implement on the 'live' app. I have not used the sandbox functionality, so that is probably something I should look into.
When remote users that are sharing spreadsheets through email in order to track data, QuickBase allows for users to collaborate on records in the cloud without fear of losing data integrity. QuickBase offers more control on data input through the delivered forms than using more recent shared spreadsheet functionality with Office 365 or Office 16'.
