Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase
We use QuickBase as a supplement to the client, HR and finance databases we are required to use by the federal government and the university. It is easy and quick to create applications that we need for everyday operations (e.g., documenting outreach). We have people working in the field and we needed a way for them to record their work, have access to forms, etc.
Pros
- Applications can be developed quickly to meet our needs.
- The version we have doesn't require having a database programmer to manage the data.
- Many of the built-in functions like calendars are very useful.
Cons
- I would like to be able to edit documents on local computers and have the work saved to the database.
- I would like more reporting options.
- I would like a more flexible dashboard.
The selection was made on being the right size for our needs and price.
