Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase
We use QuickBase as a supplement to the client, HR and finance databases we are required to use by the federal government and the university. It is easy and quick to create applications that we need for everyday operations (e.g., documenting outreach). We have people working in the field and we needed a way for them to record their work, have access to forms, etc.
- Applications can be developed quickly to meet our needs.
- The version we have doesn't require having a database programmer to manage the data.
- Many of the built-in functions like calendars are very useful.
- I would like to be able to edit documents on local computers and have the work saved to the database.
- I would like more reporting options.
- I would like a more flexible dashboard.
QuickBase has been a very useful product to quickly get applications onto the web for our people to use.
The selection was made on being the right size for our needs and price.
I was fairly skilled with Access and SSPS with a knowledge of database structure so QuickBase was very easy to use immediately, l am not a programmer and we don't want to hire one.

We have been able to track the data we need.
We have been able to modify or use the basic structure of several available apps. We have also been able to take a few flat file applications and normalize more complex data.
