Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our work is project based for clients. A small number of certain projects are suited for QuickBase and we use it as part of our operational consulting service. This relates primarily to project management. It enables live access to many users in real time; is web-based, secure and trusted.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Many users can access the information all at once.
Information gets updated in real time.
Easy to configure.

Cons

Ability to edit and change font.
Make it easier to build in graphs and be able to edit graphs. I am used to Excel functionality.
Provide more page templates for Dashboards, Contacts, Project Plans etc.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Project

Better in most regards except dependencies.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited for project management and risk management, although it's difficult to manage dependencies the same way Microsoft Project does.
