Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Time

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It helps to keep track what time is being spent on which clients. I like that it is easy to turn into create an invoice for said clients. Having multiple clients I serve as well as multiple projects for each client, QuickBooks Time helps me keep all of the billable work straight so each client is billed properly, while I simply have to start and stop time instead of working off a spreadsheet.

Usability

Overall good product. I think some integration issues that are probably on the way would give it a higher score. Easy to use, easy to see how well it connects to current book keeping software we use, and would be easy to adopt by someone who is a QuickBook user that has billable clients or just wants that metric to see how their time is allocated.

Alternatives Considered

Toggl Track

Toggl is nicer as far as full capability and additional features, but QuickBook's time is built right in, which makes it nice not to have to go between multiple interfaces. As someone who jumps between programs all day, it is nice to stay within one to complete multiple objectives of the same goal.

I like the ease and simplicity, but there are some colleagues that prefer other apps that are better and easier for mobile, as well as have additional features that Quickbooks time doesn't have. The benefit of Quick Books Time is that it integrates the most seamlessly with Quick Books, which makes reporting easy.
