Overall Satisfaction with quintly

We basically are a boutique digital consulting company and we do a lot of benchmarking. We use quintly for exactly for the same reason. It's easy to add company pages and have an overview under one dashboard. We also like the fact that you can customize the dashboards with the KPIs that are most important for the client and most relevant for benchmarking.
  • Benchmarking: the strongest point
  • Customised dashboards with desired KPIs
  • Has multiple social media platforms such as LinkedIn which is very uncommon when compared to other famous tools such as Socialbakers
  • Basically, apart from interaction rate all other KPIs are basic. Also what bothers us is that it doesn't include paid post KPIs. This is one point where Socialbakers performs very well.
  • Secondly, the swap system is something that is a little tiresome. Often you lose track of it and somehow end up missing on profile and analysis.
  • Would love to see more KPIs and recommendations for paid post promotion etc.
  • It's a pretty cost intensive tool but the fact that it provides LinkedIn data has offered us more positives than negatives.
  • If you are careful with the swaps you can use the tool in a very good setting.
It stacks up very well. It's a very close competitor to Socialbakers. It takes the lead as it has LinkedIn analytics and Socialbakers doesn't.
It's a great benchmarking tool when you need to get (almost) real-time data and KPIs. For example the reach, and follower number of Facebook and Twitter are exactly the same when you check them in real-time.
I would not recommend quintly, when you need more of a recommendation on paid posts etc.

Using quintly

5 - Basically, all consultants and analysts use Quintly do performing benchmarking for our clients and to make a market analysis on how the whole social landscape looks like. It's an easy to use tool so no special skill is required to use it. The learning curve to use this tool isnt that steep unlike other tools in the market such as Sprinklr.
2 - The people who use Quintly are basically analysts and consultant and they require in-depth KPI experience and knowledge about Social media in general. Also it's important to understand how the tool Quintly itself works and where to extract what data from the different dashboard. It's good that Quintly as a tool is very self-explanatory and easy to understand. KPI's are easy to find and companies/ social accounts are easy to group.
  • Social media management
  • Social media benchmarking
  • KPI Reporting
  • We dont use it.
  • Depending on the functionality, maybe paid post potential
  • Changing KPI's and deriving own custom KPI data
  • Additional social media accounts analysis
I think it's important for everyone to share the reviews of the tools they use as it can not just help other people to save time and money but also can help making an informed decision on which tool should be used for what and which is the best tool in the market to solve any given problem.

Evaluating quintly and Competitors

  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
  • Product Reputation
  • Existing Relationship with the Vendor
  • Third-party Reviews
Quintly is easily one of the best known social media benchmarking tool and this is one reason we went with it. initially we chose to their 30 days trial and realized the data was accurate and we were getting all major KPI's one can ask for benchmarking. So the single most factor for choosing Quintly was the product reputation
I might look for products that have all major social media accounts that are needed to do the benchmarking needed. Also Id check If there are any account adding limitations (which Quintly has) and ofcourse the price factor. This is one and the most crucial factor in selecting the tool, which is the ROI.
