Overall Satisfaction with QuoteWerks
We use QuoteWerks for all of our quoting services to our customers. It allows us to integrate into ConnectWise and pull information and pricing from our distributors, Ingram Micro and Tech Data. We use QuoteWerks across departments within our company, the only ones not using it are engineers. It allows us to seamlessly incorporate our ConnectWise information into our quotes and provide professional quotes to our customers.
- QuoteWerks integrates well with our ERP, Connectwise and pulls the information back and forth well between the two.
- QuoteWerks integrates with our Distributors, Ingram Micro and Tech Data and pulls current pricing into the quote, which saves time having to go back and forth between applications.
- QuoteWerks provides professional looking quotes that we can submit to our customers.
- QuoteWerks can be a little clunky at times, but overall is easy to use.
- QuoteWerks could be a little more visibly attractive, but it gets the job completed.
- QuoteWerks Has added a couple of features that I would rather not see there - a view of all of the open quotes for a customer just muddies up the screen and it asks you if you want to save a quote at the most inopportune times.

- ConnectWise Sell (formerly Quosal)
QuoteWerks maybe a little less user-friendly than ConnectWise Sell, however, the price is much less and we felt we didn't need anything different. One of the features in ConnectWise Sell was that you could send to a customer for auto approval, but we rarely need to do that for our customers. We simply send them the quote and they respond to the email with their approval. It works fine that way for us.

6 - Mainly sales, however it is used by our Purchasing Manager, President and Help Desk Specialist. We used it in conjunction with ConnectWise, our ERP system. The tie-in from our distributors is a plus because it brings pricing in automatically, so for not only sales, but other people within the organization benefit from Quotewerks.
9 - Although not all of our engineers are needed to support Quotewerks, all of our engineers are trained in supporting it to the users. We just recently moved it from an old server to a hyperconverged system and it is running like a champ. Our engineers are certified in many areas, but no specific skills are required to support it.

Evaluating QuoteWerks and Competitors
Yes - We had a home grown solution for quoting that mainly used a database and Excel together to allow us to quote the desired product solution to our customers. Needless to say, Quotewerks provides us a solution that takes care of the tedious aspect of quoting. It was a no-brainer for us to move to a new solution.

Our company's main purpose for choosing Quotewerks was the product features. Once again, being able to pull in pricing from our distributors was key in the ease of use we were looking for. Quotewerks provides a solid solution to present quotes to our customers in a professional manner. Usability was important, as well, however features were most important.
We would look at more solutions, but I am not so sure that at the time, our selection would have been any different. We have been happy with the solution and it takes less time to prepare quotes than our homegrown solution did and puts them in a more professional manner.

Yes - We have had a few bugs in using Quotewerks, however they have been resolved to our satisfaction and in a timely fashion.
