Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT
We use RE NXT as our primary donor database and marketing tool. It is being used primarily by our development staff with additional users in our marketing department. The product has allowed us to strategically raise funds and build awareness of our mission.We are finding it more useful each day.
- RE NXT makes it easy to access information from anywhere. The cloud-based solution has taken much pressure off of our IT dept.
- I have found the data analytics that RE NXT provides to be incredibly useful. We have over doubled our annual funds raised by using the targeted ask amounts that this program provided!
- The ease of navigating through screens is a plus. This product was developed with the fundraiser in mind.
- I think that the biggest frustration is that sometimes the software runs a little slow. The problems are often resolved within a very short time but in our fast world it can be frustrating.
- I think that new tools are added frequently to the software but training on how to use them is not always readily available.
- The gift entry is still done in an older version of RE and it would be helpful to have all aspects of the product functioning in a similar way. I know it is coming but patience is not always easy.

We were able to increase our number of donors giving by nearly 10% year over year. Our average gift size almost doubled in our most recent annual appeal. The ability to personalize communications donors greatly increased. Our IT staff has been able to focus on other areas of our organization as this product is in a fully hosted environment ALL updates and repairs are made by Blackbaud. The success we were able to recognize in the first year of having RE NXT has paid for this product many times over! We are blessed to have Blackbaud as a partner in our continued success.
Blackbaud has been able to provide us with the necessary products to have a full service development office. The primary software along with the additional event, marketing, and data modules have taken us from a reactive organization to a proactive one. We are far more strategic and planning much further ahead than ever before and we have pure data to help guide our decision making process.
