Overall Satisfaction with Read&Write

We are a Primary school from 5yr olds to 13yr olds. We cannot speak highly enough of this product. For students who are reluctant writers the programme is excellent. The barrier of physically writing is removed! Even our writing enthusiasts enjoy using the programme as well.

Pros

  • Reads back their text
  • Highlights and reads text from websites.

Cons

  • Including Te Reo words or NZ accent
  • Student voice is positive
  • Improvement in writing outcomes for reluctant writers.
Simple access for all learners. The rollout was easy.
We had a student with specific learning and behaviour needs and this programme has helped them to engage with the curriculum and experience success with their writing.
Tried Google but found the interface clunky. I think Read&Write is much easier to install and use.

This programme works really well for reluctant writers as it takes away the physical process of writing.
This also works well for our nuerodiverse learners as it provides another platform for learning to occur.
