Overall Satisfaction with Ridder iQ

We use Ridder iQ for a lot of processes in our organization. We make offers, projects and orders in it. We do this for multiple operating companies in seperate databases and use the multi company functionality from iQ. We process invoices and declarations with ImageCapture what is connected to Ridder iQ. All kind of documents are related to iQ.

Dutch Translation: We gebruiken Ridder iQ voor veel processen binnen onze organisatie. We maken er offertes, projecten en orders in. We doen dit voor meerdere werkmaatschappijen in aparte databases en maken gebruik van de multi-company functionaliteit van iQ. We verwerken facturen en declaraties met ImageCapture, dat gekoppeld is aan Ridder iQ. Allerlei documenten zijn gekoppeld aan iQ.

Overall Ridder iQ is good to use. You can easily do small customizations to fields, screens, widgets, etc. There is also room for improvements to be able to easily adapt rights in roles, more no/low code functionality, webbased iQ, api endpoints, etc.

Dutch Translation: Over het algemeen is Ridder iQ prettig in gebruik. Je kunt eenvoudig kleine aanpassingen doen aan velden, schermen, widgets, enzovoort. Er is ook ruimte voor verbetering, zoals het eenvoudig aanpassen van rechten in rollen, meer functionaliteit zonder/met weinig code, webgebaseerde iQ, API-endpoints, enzovoort.
Odoo has broader functionality but its functionality is not deeper. The PLM functionality of Odoo is not really CAD PLM but only BOM management. Ridder iQ is very easy in small customizations and bigger customization is also possible but with programming. Ridder iQ has a good price/functionality ratio compared with SAP, Infor, etc. Ridder iQ has a lot of partners with dedicated integrations.

Ridder iQ is very good to use for normal processes in the making industry. You can easily customize it with calculated and custom fields and widgets. But more extensive customizing is more difficult. You need to be able to programm and the integration of other software/webapps is difficult. Therefore the no/low code functionality and api endpoints of Ridder iQ should be extended. Ridder iQ is unfortunately not to use on a smartphone of something like that.

Dutch Translation: Ridder iQ is zeer geschikt voor normale processen in de maakindustrie. Je kunt het eenvoudig aanpassen met berekende en aangepaste velden en widgets. Maar uitgebreidere aanpassingen zijn lastiger. Je moet kunnen programmeren en de integratie met andere software/webapps is lastig. Daarom zouden de no/low-code functionaliteit en API-endpoints van Ridder iQ uitgebreid moeten worden. Ridder iQ is helaas niet geschikt voor gebruik op een smartphone of iets dergelijks.
