Overall Satisfaction with Ridder iQ
We use Ridder iQ for a lot of processes in our organization. We make offers, projects and orders in it. We do this for multiple operating companies in seperate databases and use the multi company functionality from iQ. We process invoices and declarations with ImageCapture what is connected to Ridder iQ. All kind of documents are related to iQ.
- You can easily make yourself calculated columns
- You can easily make yourself new tables and fields
- You can easily make yourself adapted screens, widgets, etc.
- You can easily make yourself email templates
- You can easily make yourself scheduled tasks
- Tables and fields have clear names what is very handy to work with
- Ridder iQ misses graphical workflow and blocks designer
- Adaptions to rights in iQ can be difficult and time consuming
- Ridder iQ is unfortunately still not webbased
- Ridder iQ is fortunately developping api endpoints but this is still not completed.
- The no/low code functionality can be extended
- More efficiency in processes
- Negative performance issues caused by old fashioned client-server architecture of Ridder iQ
- Overview of process workflow and statusses in Ridder iQ
- Good status of orders by monitoring project progress
- Odoo and SAP BW/4HANA
Odoo has broader functionality but its functionality is not deeper. The PLM functionality of Odoo is not really CAD PLM but only BOM management.
Ridder iQ is very easy in small customizations and bigger customization is also possible but with programming.
Ridder iQ has a good price/functionality ratio compared with SAP, Infor, etc.
Ridder iQ has a lot of partners with dedicated integrations.
