Overall Satisfaction with RingEX
RingEX is the main communication vehicle for us. We are a fax-heavy industry. RingEX handles our fax needs well. We use it for calling, training, texting, and video conferencing with customers, their employees, and partners. All team members use RingEX for various communication all day long. We use call groups heavily also. RingEX is indeed a universal communication system for us.
Pros
- Uptime is great
- Scales per our needs
- Easy to use
Cons
- Customer support is rudimentary. They should improve tier 1 customer support's ability to understand our needs rather than asking customers to reinstall the app
- Revolving door of account managers, which causes loss of continuity in discussing opportunities
- Analytics is not complete. Details about faxing and web meetings is missing.
- During the pandemic, we were one of the very few companies responding to customers and partners. RingEX had a massive part to play in transitioning to remote work while not missing a beat in supporting our customers. We noticed 2% increase in retention, which is significant when we were already in the 90%+ retention range already.
- As we scaled and added users, adding users in RingEX was remarkably easy saving us hundreds of hours of saved time in onboarding annually.
- We noticed a cultural shift from calling customers to texting customers. As younger generation more prone to texting started working in corporate America, we were ready to communicate with them via text, which was most comfortable for them. With a single RingEX number, we could do phone calls, text, and fax. That improved our responsiveness and contributed to winning new contracts.
Since RingEX has faxing, texting, calling, video conferencing, internal chatting all built into a singular app, we have been able to collaborate with remote team members effectively. We have also been able to respond to customer requests very quickly. If they want fax, a team member can fax them. Hospitals are notorious for using faxes. Fortunately, we have various ways to get faxes from hospitals and financial organizations. We are a more collaborative company because of RingEX and Microsoft Office products.
RingEX sales team was the most responsive team. Zoom was not as mature and did not have a fax solution like RingEX had. 8x8 sales process was a disaster and their finance team began billing us during the sales process as if we were a customer. We could tell 8x8 didn't focus on customer's needs. SpectrumVOIP was pushy and annoying at best, resulting in a terrible customer experience. WebEx was a close second to RingEX. WebEx was not cost effective at our scale and for our needs, making RingEX the leader in our analysis.
