We use Zoom Phone as our telephony solution, every user has their own line that is used for internal and external calling.
  • Ease of use
  • Customizable options and settings
  • Reliability
Zoom Phone is very well suited for our attorneys and it's a value add to the whole firm.

Zoom Phone was a great fit for us as our staff, mostly non-technical, was all-in on Zoom. We were able to go fully cloud-based with just a handful of handsets. It was easy to use personal cell phones as office phones. The price is competitive with other providers and it works very well for our staff, many of whom do not have offices but work throughout the state. We have had no issues with downtime, and when we've needed tech support for setting up features, Zoom Support has been responsive and very helpful. We recently renewed for another 3 years.
  • Call routing for main numbers without needing call center software
  • Transcription and emailing of voice mails
  • Full functionality on cell phones
  • Easy porting and implementation
  • Intuitive for staff to use
  • Call quality when there is not a good internet connection can be spotty
  • Looking up staff members seems to require one click more than I'd like
Zoom Phone is outstanding when you have multiple offices and some road warriors. Any environment that is well-served by a cloud-based phone system would be well-served by Zoom Phone. It is very easy to manage with current staff. The seamless integration with Zoom Meetings is very helpful. I highly recommend it.

We switched from a previous Voip system to Zoom Phone and will never switch again! Our previous carrier was spotty at best and never transferred calls to our cell phones correctly. It was a problem since we all work remotely and we only use one deskphone so getting calls to transfer to our cells was critical. Once we started with Zoom Phone, we noticed the difference right away. Calls come through on our cells instantly and are identifiable as coming from our Zoom Phone numbers. It's extremely easy to set up and the support from Zoom is fantastic. The Zoom Voicemail is also extremely easy to use as well. If you are a Zoom meetings and chat customer, it all works seamlessly for reminders about voicemail or missed calls. I have nothing bad to say about Zoom Phone and I'm so glad we switched.
  • Transfers calls to cell phones seamlessly
  • Easy to set up
  • Great support from Zoom
  • Easy to see voicemail and missed calls notifications
  • Sometimes we have to enter a number before the call connects on our cell phone.
If you have a spotty Voip system in place and have difficulty transferring calls or organizing a conference call with your current system - I would highly recommend Zoom Phone. It's so easy to set up and use and transfers extremely well to cell phones within the organization. Messages are also very easy to retrieve and missed call notifications are timely and helpful.

I work for a company that is a wholesale distributor of Zoom Phone for LATAM and Europe. The use of Zoom Phone is not only a tool for demonstration to our channels, but it has become an improvement in the experience of the company's internal users, since the interoperability we have between Meeting, Chat and PHONE has allowed us led to having a better response time between us and with our clients.Zoom Phone definitely improved the company's operations.
  • Escalate from Chat to Call with one click
  • Calls to our clients throughout LATAM
  • Call transfers between extensions
  • It would be interesting if in the future there was a version of Zoom Phone IN-SITU to reduce broadband use
All companies that provide B2B and BC2 services will have an improvement in their customer experience through Zoom's omnichannel based on Zoom Phone.

Zoom is used for our staff (social workers, finance, hr, etc) to facilitate meetings and trainings.
  • Screen Sharing - Portion of the screen
  • Universal accessibility
  • Ease of use and not being complicated
  • Setup
  • Integrating into 365 better
  • Documentation
Zoom is easy to use, easy to install, easy to setup. The screensharing, like others is pretty simple but where I think Zoom outpaces others is the actual options of screen sharing. More specific Portion of screen. Using portion of screen is by far the best way (for me) to share my screen when training, having calls.

Zoom replaced multiple applications to focus on one interface. We now use Zoom for chat, meetings, phone, and whiteboard. We are also currently in the process of rolling out Zoom calendar and mail within the Zoom app along with cloud sharing files.
  • multiple communication features within one app
  • provides leadership with data and analytics for their team
  • works well with after-hours call queues
  • Chat notifications can easily be missed because alerts and notifications do not always appear
I think Zoom is well suited for employees to use one interface for all applications such as main, calendar, chat, meeting, whiteboards, file sharing, etc.

  • Chat and Phone are easy to use
  • adhoc meets and scheduled meetings are just a few steps to get started and scheduled
  • would love to see more audio meeting features
  • exchange online features...calendar sync
we moved to Zoom to make our attorneys more nimble and make our client experience more robust with offerings...

We are an outbound calling organization. We use Zoom Phone all day every day to perform our sales focused activity.
  • Easy to use
  • Quick response for support issues
  • Easy to add and remove users
  • I would like better reporting capabilities that update live
If you are looking for a cost effective digital phone service this has been an excellent solution for us. If you are doing high volume calling I don't think this would be the type of service well suited for that.

Zoom Phone is used not only for verbal phone calls, but to be able to follow along on any Zoom video calls whenever may be needed as well. It’s been helpful for the additional sharing of Excel, PowerPoint or Word materials whenever applicable and as may be needed on that call.
  • Audio quality
  • Video quality
  • Screen share
  • Better signal at times
  • Faster speeds use
I think it’s well suited for most of our business applications. It’s limited only on the size of a phone versus any laptop or monitor

In the current pandemic situation, we as many organizations, institutions, universities, decided to work practically 100% of the time in a home-office scheme. This brought many challenges such as communication issues, although some tools and programs were told, at the Universidad Iberoamericana A.C. it is customary to still have a lot of communication via telephone. With Zoom Phone, we began to evaluate telephony in the cloud that allows breaking some barriers of the current conception of traditional telephony. We started with 25 licenses and they are still being evaluated for some particular issues.
  • Good sound.
  • Easy to use.
  • Efficient use of the network.
  • Easy interface.
  • More integration with OnPremise PBX.
  • Recycling of DIDs is very difficult for users to handle.
  • Advanced switch features have yet to be implemented.
There are many scenarios where Zoom Phone can be implemented, but one of the ones that work best is when an organization wants to start operations and instead of investing in traditional telephony, it can implement cloud telephony like this solution. Also in a scenario where it does not matter to change DIDs in the face of customer service. A scenario that I do not recommend it when you already have roots in the telephone numbers and you want to migrate all the telephony you have to this cloud scheme because those telephone numbers will be lost and the transition will be complicated, it will create frustration. Another complicated scenario is if it is contemplated to send to work at home and the additional costs of dedicated telephone equipment are not considered, especially when users are used to a traditional physical telephone.

We use Zoom Phone for our day to day, and weekly calls. It acts as our virtual cabin and conference rooms. Being a fully remote company Zoom helps us get things done. It helps us stay connected with our fellow colleagues, solve each other's problems, work together, and have a sense of collaboration.
  • High Quality Audio & Video
  • Easy Switching between Audio & Video devices
  • The Invitaion option wher you call someone is pretty neat.
  • The feature where you get a mail when someone joins your meeting is very useful
  • I always wanted a better message window in Zoom
  • I think the window rezising functionality can improve
  • More filters
Zoom is very well suited when you want to connect with others to work, or just to chat. Zoom is a very powerful productivity tool. Zoom Phone is very well suited when you want to do meetings on the go, for example, you can be on a commute but still attending a meeting.

We use Zoom Phone for our main switchboard line when people call the seminary and for the Welcome Center and Registrar lines. Several other departments are also beginning to use it. We already used Zoom for meetings, so it's nice to have two functions in one program.
  • Transferring calls
  • Caller ID
  • You can see who is taking each call
  • We needed to link each of our team members' personal emails to the Zoom account so we have to filter VM notifications out of our personal accounts.
  • It'd be nice if you could set business hours through the webpage to include a lunch break so that you don't have to manually go in to edit.
Zoom Phone is great for remote work. It's pretty user friendly. You can easily transfer calls to those who have Zoom extensions programmed into the address book.

Obviously, this would apply to most tech nowadays, but call quality can suffer during bad weather.

We implemented Zoom Phone across our organization. In the end, we had nearly 150 lines both in offices and in public spaces. We use Zoom Phone as our only supported institution-wide phone system. It replaced an antiquated Cisco UCaaS solution which had been in place for a number of years. Both the softphone and desk phones are deployed.
  • Call quality
  • Reporting
  • Ease of Use
  • Number Porting
  • Innovation
  • Support
  • Desk phone features
  • Canned Reports
Zoom Phone just makes sense if you are already using Zoom Video. It's a natural extension, and provides a single pane of glass for all your communications needs. It integrates well with existing authentication setups, providing users with single sign on capabilities. It also does not consume as much Internet bandwidth as one might expect. The only use where I may question Zoom Phone's usage is in a small organization with under 20 users where it may not be affordable.

Zoom Phone is being used in tandem with its desktop-friendly application—Zoom. While it is being used across the organization, it primarily depends on the person and the technological capabilities of employees' at-home set up. Zoom Phone, much like Zoom itself, addresses the problem of socially distant communication with it's own line of telecommunication benefits.
  • Easy to use
  • Stylish design
  • High quality audio
  • Zoom's questionable security
  • Difficulty multitasking
  • Screen sharing issues
While you'd expect a mobile app to have more restrictions on usage than the desktop version, Zoom Phone is pretty much the opposite. Since everyone seems to have a smartphone these days as compared to a laptop with proper camera and microphone capabilities, Zoom Phone comes in handy for business meetings/phone calls wherein which you'd like total participation. Though vertical "selfie" shots may not appear the most professional, nor is the screen sharing feature all that easy to use on mobile, overall, Zoom Phone successfully hits the marks where Skype and other such mobile applications fail in a business environment.

Zoom is used as our video conferencing system. We have several different offices throughout the world so this helps us easily connect and discuss the latest happenings and whatnot at the company. Even more so now that we are all working remotely, Zoom is very handy for getting in touch with colleagues and managers to quickly discuss and iron out situations. Reduces the amount that we're on our telephones and messaging each other through Slack.
  • Transcribes voicemails. Great for those verbose folks that leave long voicemails.
  • Loud and clear volume quality! Great in a busy office with lots of people talking.
  • Easy to keep track of who has called me. Has Caller ID which is helpful.
  • I've had some slowdown on calls.
  • Would like caller ID when someone is calling rather than just in my call history.
  • Ability to use the numpad to dial numbers. Have to click the numbers instead of typing them in.
Great for working from home and you don't have a physical desk phone to use. I imagine a lot of people don't have a landline anymore and may be hesitant to use their personal phone to make business calls. Being in Sales, I'd rather not be using my personal number so Zoom is great for giving me the benefits of having an office phone but not being restricted to my desk and having a physical phone taking up space. Easy to pick up and go wherever I need, whether I need to make a private call or need some time away from the colleagues to focus on my calls.

We implemented Zoom Phone after implementing the Zoom App for video conferencing for 8 months. It is so much better to have a soft phone now and it is great to be able to have a license that allows phone calls and conferencing. It is very nice and easy to use. We can also use the phone app so that means we can use Zoom Phone from our Macs and when we are out of the office, calls get to our cell phones.
  • No need for a cell phone.
  • Record messages into texts on the app.
  • Excellent connectivity.
  • Find a way to synchronise the app on the phone and the app on the computer.
  • Integrating with Salesforce is not user friendly.
  • Porting takes too long from the carrier to Zoom.
It only has been very well suited for us for the work we do. Recruiting: we make so many calls to candidates that sometimes using Zoom for conferencing in conjunction with Zoom Phone is great - we can keep track of all the calls, messages on the same app. This is so great. Now we also integrate with Salesforce so it is even better. No need to pay for cell phone, or Zoom Phone also works on a personal cell phone but it helps keep professional calls separate from private phone calls.

We currently use Zoom Phones for all 40 of our employees across all departments. We chose Zoom Phones after leaving RingCentral because of the reliability we've noticed with Zoom Meetings, the cost savings compared to RingCentral, and the integration with Salesforce that has worked well. I prefer to go with reliable cloud-based solutions that are full of features and flexibility and look for ease of setup, provisioning and administration as a small business.
  • Ease of Use
  • Ease of Management
  • Reliability (except for that first week of COVID panic!)
  • Phone routing features and flexibility
  • IT Integrations and Automations
  • Voicemail handling for queues and groups can't have their own shared voicemail box.
  • They recently starting limiting how many greetings you can have per user, so you have to do some annoying workarounds by setting up additional users to accomplish it when you have a number of ACD.
  • Does not yet support texting.
  • I wish they had built in text to speech to quickly build new greetings or phone tree options when needed.
  • You can't just assign a phone number to a call queue or group. You have to use a specific user. Fortunately, the cost is reasonable per user so its not a big problem, but annoying none-the-less.
  • The Salesforce integration could be better, I hope they improve it. For example, voicemails and call logs don't show up in the native lightning case feed, but as tasks.
  • When callers call, I wish it would pop up how they called and what tree they went through. So we could see what number they called into and perhaps what menu options they used.
  • I'd love to be able to ask them questions to gather info for reps answering phones when appropriate.
I think Zoom Phone falls a bit short as Call Center software, but overall, its the most reliable and best value of all the phone systems I've tried so far and I've tested, used and researched many. It really is easy to manage, and users have no trouble using it immediately with our G Suite SSO, so provisioning and rollout to new hires go so well. The only time we had trouble with our phones was during a rough week during March 2020 during the COVID panic.
