One of the feature we have made the most of is having voice mail messages forwarded to individual company employee emails. This service lets peoples who are out of the office never miss a voice message. Same goes for texts messaging. RingEX has allowed us to have a text messaging on our main office line

It easily integrates into our CRM, so that in itself has saved me a ton of time. I don't utilize templates within applications, I keep my own word doc, so as to the automation aspects of the application, I don't often utilize those, and as a result, cannot speak to them.

To be honest, we could use their services more than we currently do. We have simplified the call routing due to the size of our staff and how busy we are. I need to reach out to Ring Central to help us increase efficiency in our shop by creating a better map of call routing - which I know it can do as we used to use it.

Ring EX was able to consolidate our video, messaging, and scheduling platforms simultaneously. With the ability to promote our calls into a video call, we can have smoother conversations, and it becomes easier to troubleshoot our user's issues in real-time. Scheduling is a breeze, too, since we are able to schedule in real-time through the app, which is connected to our internal calendars.

We've not taken advantage of many of the collaboration opportunities that RingEX has available. We are aware of the value they may add, but we've simply not made time to implement them thus far.

It's the little things, like having email notifications of an answerphone message (with the message attached as an audio file), so you don't have to physically use your handset to catch up on any missed calls/messages.
The flexibility of the mobile app, so you don't have to ring external people using your own mobile number, you can use the main business number, or even calling employees desk phones without having to navigate the IVR menu & enter the extension really saves a lot of time.

They have templates to apply features to various things like ring groups and whatnot, but I often find them to be quirky and end up applying setting manually. They have a lot of features that we frankly don't need and would have liked the abilty to disable them from our users as it's just a lot to look at. We don't use any of the analytics features, but they look very in depth.

I don't really have major issues. It's a good product. They just need better technical, so changes are made to the original setup when activating the service. What ever happens on the back end is sometimes changing the features, or routing setup.

We were able to cut costs migrating from our previous platform to RingEX. Our staff enjoys RingEX's single application to provide robust and reliable voice, video and chat services. It's faster, more solid and more feature packed than any of the other services we have previously used. RingEX has also provided us the ability to host calls with our external clients, which was not possible with our previous platform due to client connection issues.

This is a tougher area for us, simply because we're already steeped in Google Workspace for video and chat messaging within the company, and have been for years. Those areas have not been utilized in RingEX simply because we don't have a use for them. That they come as part of the overall package is great, but the phone and SMS communications with our clients is why we're here.

We have consolidated three different platforms used in one (RingEX) this helped the costs, but very important the DATA, we have reliable reports, and we can use these for daily decisions, helping in our productivity, everything is measured and everything is reported In our line of business, by being more transparent we can obtain better results and satisfied customers. With this platform we have been able to grow and help our associates grow.

Call analytics need to be mentioned in any review. Having insight into how users are actually using the service we pay for has been huge. It's also given us more information as to why a call or video conference has issues. Until RingEX we had no way to tell if it was a random network issue or a legitimate problem but the in-depth analytics can show CPU usage, connection type(wifi or wired), signal strength, etc to help us troubleshoot issues that users claim to experience.

When we suddenly had to transition most of our staff to remote work, we took the quickest route to mobile communications – adding Microsoft Voice to the Teams environment our staff was already familiar with. RC has provided a sophisticated phone solution capable of supporting remote and on-campus employees while providing advanced functionality, scalability with licensing, and a highly responsive and knowledgeable support team. Every summer, after college-bound students have received their exam results, our business hosts a clearing period where students still seeking a spot at university can call our staff and inquire. With our old system, we had to route those calls through a laptop running Windows XP, and we hoped the system would hold together and students could reach us. RingEX has provided us with the ability to roll out new numbers almost instantly. When we set up our summer clearing program for the first time after implementing RingEX, that experience was unreal. We could buy a new 0800 for the program right in the admin portal, and it was instantly added to our account.

Microsoft Teams is our standard collaboration tool. We rely on this because of the deep integration with OneDrive and SharePoint. While implementing RingEX we thought we would have no use for MVP but as time has progressed, we started using it as a platform for hosting audio only conference calls. Since then, we have used RingEX to supplement our Team capability. We use RingEX when we want to have private communications without a record in Teams and have had to rely on it for collaboration with certain customers who block Teams protocol as part of their security policy.

Contacting teammates across Canada is made very easy! You can leave messages on the platform for your team to check if they're tied up with something. You can go back into the call log history and find out exactly what was said during a call. It's incredibly reliable, and has very little downtime if any!

Obviously, business collaboration and productivity have been big things for us since the conversion to RingEX. We love the easy-to-understand user interface and the ability to make changes on the fly. Both the user and admin interfaces are far above any other vendors we've used in the past.
